Dodital & Darwa Pass 1st Batch

The Dodital Pass is a popular trekking route in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, India. The trek starts from the small town of Sangamchatti and takes you through dense forests, quaint villages, and scenic meadows, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

The highlight of the trek is the Dodital Lake, which is a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by towering peaks and lush greenery. The lake is also considered to be a sacred site by the locals.

The trek continues to the Darwa Pass, which is situated at an altitude of 4,150 meters, and offers panoramic views of the Bandarpunch range, Srikanth peak, and other snow-capped mountains. The trek then descends through the Yamunotri valley, passing through the Yamunotri temple, and ends in Hanuman Chatti.

The Dodital Pass trek is a moderate level trek and usually takes around 6-7 days to complete. The best time to do the trek is from May to June and September to November, when the weather is pleasant, and the views are at their best.
